Cooking
with essential oils is completely new to me, so I've been slowly
attempting some recipes. Since Christmas is a pepperminty time of year, I
wanted to try a peppermint chocolate shake. It was delish. Here is the
recipe and a not so hot photo, but you get the idea...
Makes enough for a mama and 2 little boys:
1 avocado
2 bananas
24ish oz liquid depending on consistency (I used half coconut milk and half water)
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tablespoon honey (more if you like really sweet)
5-6 ice cubes
(I also snuck in probiotic powder, vitamin c, and gelatin as we've been fighting colds all week)
1-2 drops doTERRA peppermint essential oil
Blend till smooth...pour...and enjoy!:)
